Job Description

We are seeking a responsible, trustworthy adult house sitter for a 16-day overnight stay in Neenah. This is a unique and very low-maintenance house-sitting role. We have two independent 16-year-olds who will be staying in the home during this time. They are entirely self-sufficient, and your primary role is NOT to babysit or parent them, but to provide a responsible adult presence in the home overnight, act as an emergency contact, and oversee our house and two cats. Primary Responsibilities:

• Overnight Presence: Stay in our guest room overnight for the duration of the 16 days to ensure an adult is on-site. Just nights - teens are at school 7am-4pm, you can come anytime in the evening that works for you.
• Emergency Contact: Act as the point of contact if a household issue arises (e.g., maintenance, emergencies) or if our teens need adult assistance.
• Cat Oversight: Our teenagers will handle the daily feeding routines for our two independent cats, but you will need to take care of the litter box. We mainly need a backup check to ensure the cats are safe, healthy, and being cared for.
• Basic House Management: Bring in the mail, keep an eye on the property, and very light clean up to maintain a tidy home environment.

You will have complete privacy when you want it. We have a separate guest room and private bathroom downstairs (the 2 teens are upstairs). You are welcome to use the kitchen and common areas as you please. The Ideal Candidate:

• A mature, reliable adult who communicates well and respects the space of independent teenagers.
• Someone with great references who is comfortable being a quiet background safety net.
• Must be willing to do an initial in-person meet-and-greet with us and our teenagers before the job starts to ensure it's a mutual match.
